Carol Hauk Obituary


Carol Janice Hauk, 81, of Fairland, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at
Cypress Run in Morristown.
Born May 16, 1938 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Myron and Leona
(McDonald) Cole.  She married Ray B. Hauk on April 27, 1959 and he survives.
Other survivors include a son Todd Hauk (wife Christine) of Shelbyville; 2 grandchildren
Kody Hauk, Raivin DeHart; and 3 great grandchildren- Caydenn, Karter, and Rylinn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Pauline Newton.
Mrs. Hauk was a home maker and a lifelong resident of this area.  She graduated from
Waldron High School in 1956, and was member of Indian Creek Christian Church.  She 
had previously been a member of Bethel Separate Baptist Church in Geneva.
Janice enjoyed growing and working with flowers, and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Glenn E. George& Son
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road with Kevin Williams officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill
Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Sunday evening, January 19, 2020, from
4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
