Clifford Eugene "Cliff" Meadows, 82, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019
at Morristown Manor.
Born February 17, 1937 in Carbondale, Illinois, he was the son of Earl Meadows and Gladys
(Page) Meadows. He married Charlotte Ann (Pederson) in 1959, and she passed away on
July 20, 2012.
Survivors include 3 daughters- Alice M. Smith (husband Todd) of Shelbyville, Dotti J. Meadows
of Shelbyville, Lori A. Dunn (husband David) of Shelbyville; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, and 2 brothers.
Mr. Meadows had lived in this area over 50 years, and had been a self employed, owner/operator
truck driver for over 50 years, retiring in 2014. He was a member of Town & Country Christian
Church, American Legion Post #70, and the Eagles's Lodge. We was a US Air Force veteran.
Cliff has traveled millions of miles in his lifetime. He has completed his final journey and received
his wings. He is now with his family and friends that have gone one before him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
