Dominick Michael Eugene "Nick" Drake

Dominick Michael Eugene "Nick" Drake, 24, of Flat Rock, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019
at his residence.  
He was born on February 3, 1995 in Bartholomew County.
Survivors include his biological father Nathan Simmonds of Bartholomew County, biological mother
Jennifer Drake of Shelbyville, legal father Ricky Drake of Flat Rock, legal mother Robin Hensley
(husband Randall) of Carrollton, Kentucky; daughter Ariah Elaine Rose Drake of Bartholomew County;
brothers Jevan Merrick, Jace Merrick, both of Shelbyville; sisters Taylor Drake of Louisville, and Rudi
Hilderbrant of Columbus.  He was preceded in death by a brother Jason Daniel Tapp, and grandmother
Ruth Bush.
Mr. Drake had lived in this are for most of his lifetime, and was a laborer. He attended Liberty Christian
Academy in Seymour.
NIck enjoyed music, drawing, skateboarding, and most of all, he loved his daughter Ariah.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home,
437 Amos Road, with Rev. Joe Kindol officiating.  Friends may call on Monday morning from 11:00 am until
the time of the service.
