Emily A. Rutherford

Emily A. Rutherford, 62, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019
at MHP Medical Center.  
Born Mach 26, 1957 in Winchester, Indiana, she was the daughter of Murray
Raymond Bolton and Ellen (White) Bolton.  She married William Rutherford on
February 10, 1976 and he preceded her on April 22, 2016.
Survivors include her mother Ellen Bolton of Shelbyville; 4 children- Leslie Dennis
(husband Matthew) of Shelbyville, April Lisby of Shelbyville, William Rutherford II 
(wife Stephanie) of Florida, Angel Miller of Michigan; a sister Kim Baden (husband David) 
of Hagerstown; 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death
by her father, her spouse, an infant daughter Brandy Lynn, and brother Steven Bolton.
Mrs. Rutherford had lived in this area since 1973, moving from Lynn, Indiana.  She 
graduated from Waldron High School in 1975 and was a home maker.  She had
previously worked in the finish shop at Ryobi Die Casting for 12 years, retiring in 2013.
Emily was very family oriented,  enjoyed spending time with her family, and babysitting
nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Everyone affectionlly called her Mon. She never knew a
stranger, and opened her home up to all.
No funeral services will be observed, however a Celebration of Life for her and William
will be held at a later da
