Guy W. Glendenning

Guy W. Glendenning, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2019 at 
his residence.
Born November 30, 1954 in Shelbyville, he was the son of George W. Glendenning
and Mary Katherine (Hiatt) Glendenning.  He married Robin (Shearer) Glendenning
on August 31, 1984 and she preceded him on March 26, 2006.
Survivors include his father George Glendenning of Shelbyville;  son Guy W. Glendenning Jr. (wife
Andrea) of Vandalia, Illinois, daughter Leslie D. Griffith (husband Michael) of Greensburg;
4 grandchildren- Christopher Miller, Gavin Glendenning, Jade Robbins, & Jalen Lopez.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his spouse.
Mr. Glendenning was a lifetime resident of this area, and attended  Shelbyville High
School.  He had been employed as a truck driver, and was a member of the Fraternal
Order of Eagles.
Guy enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating.  visitation will be observed at the funeral 
home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
