Helen Geraldine (Hines) Leigh

Helen Geraldine Hines Leigh, 91, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Waldron Health Care.
Born August 29, 1927 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of  William Franklin Hines and Offie Lee
(Philips) Hines.
Survivors include 2 brothers- Julian Hines (wife Letha) of Brookville, Florida, Jeffrey Hines (wife Shirley) of Jackson,
Michigan; 11 nieces and nephews- Jeanneen Faulconer, Joani Stewart, Danny Hines, David Hines, Steven Hines,
Dean Hines, Vincent Hines, Laura Edwards, Paul Hines, Nathan Beurger, Jennifer Newman, and several great nieces
and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters Joyce Hines and Jeanne Hines.
Mrs. Leigh had lived in this area for a year and a half, after moving from Norwood, Ohio.  She attended Elmwood Place
 High School in Ohio, and was a member of Norwood Nazarene Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was a home maker.
Geraldine enjoyed sewing, painting, playing the organ, singing, teaching Sunday School, and working with children at
church activities.
Graveside services will be 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
