Linda Lee Spurling

Linda Lee (Flannery) Thompson Spurling, age 56 of Milford, IN passed away March 25, 2019. She was born April 1, 1962, in Rushville, In the daughter of the late Charles Flannery and Emily (Spivey) Flannery Teltoe. She married John Spurling on August 31, 1991, and he survives.
Linda was a homemaker and attended North Decatur High School. She served on the Milford Town Board, she was also a First Responder with the Adams (IN) and Burney (IN) Fire Department, she helped to establish rural water in Milford and helped to restore the Bell at the Milford Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Flannery.
She is survived by her husband, John; children, Cecil Thompson and Jonathan (Becky Adams) Thompson both of Greensburg, IN; her siblings, Waneta (Don) Boots of Greensburg, IN; Joyce (Jim) Dyer of Rushville, IN;
Lena Garwood of Adams, IN; Ella (James Bradley) Lamb of Hamilton, OH; Eula (Danny) McComas of Shelbyville, IN; Deanna (Mike) Fortner of Greensburg, IN and Mauriene (John) Remmler of Greensburg, IN; Five grandchildren, Shawntae, Kali, Blake, Hunter and Cylah.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to crochet, do gardening and to read. She also loved animals.
Visitation for Linda will be on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 11am until service time at 1:00PM in the Milford Church, Milford, IN (Decatur County). Officiating the services will be Pastor David Douglas. Funeral services for
Linda will be Friday, March 29, 2019, at 1:00PM in the church.
Burial will be in the Milford Cemetery.
