Lois Ann Johnson

Lois Ann Johnson, 83, of Flat Rock, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019
at OUR Hospice Inpatient Facility.
Born November 5, 1935 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of John L. Hill 
and Olivia Hill.  She married H.B. "Pete" Johnson in 1960 and he preceded her
on October 8, 2008.
Survivors include 2 sons- Terry Johnson (fiance' Angie Sherfick) and Rusty
Johnson, both of Flat Rock, daughter Jonnie Willey of Flat Rock;  2 sisters-
Joy Weddle of Shelbyville, Joyce Nickel of Texas; 8 grandchildren, 17 great
grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by
her parents, spouse, and several brother and sisters.
Mrs. Johnson had lived in this area over 50 years, moving from Shelbyville.  She 
had been a factory worker at General Electric/Wellman's for over 40 years, and
graduated from Shelbyville High School.
Lois enjoyed dancing, cooking, and the thrill of the hunt while searching for bargains
at garage sales and thrift stores.  She was loved by all that she met, had many 
friends, and will be greatly missed.  Lois will be remembered by all as a tough bird
that  loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, March 28, 2019  at Winchester 
Cemetery with Pastor Rick Leonard officiating.
