Marie Kuntz Obituary


Marie D. "B" Kuntz, 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019
at Ashford Place Health Campus.
Born December 1, 1931 in Lancaster, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ike Denny
and Mollie (Wiggins) Denny.  She married Charles E. Kuntz on October 7, 1950 and
he preceded her on August 24, 2019.
Survivors include her twin sister Edna Lauff of Shelbyville, brothers- Bill Denny (wife
Bonnie) of Waldron, Charles Denny (wife Sandy) of Shelbyville; and several nieces
and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brother Donald
Junior Denny, sister Lucille Marsh and an infant sister.
Mrs. Kuntz lived in this area most of her lifetime, and attended New Salem High School.
She had been employed at the old Kennedy Car Liner for a couple of years, Western
Electric for 33 years, and was also employed in Coulston School Cafeteria for several
years.  She was a member of Lewis Creek Baptist Church and the Ladies Monday
Coffee Group.
Marie enjoyed eating out, traveling, attending church and church functions.  She 
especially loved her family and spending time with them.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Glenn E. George
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Harvey Taylor officiating.  Burial will
be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service
at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lewis Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, in
care of the funeral home.
