Mark T. Holzhausen, 59, of Waldron, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019
at Major Hospital.
Born January 27, 1960 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dale Holzhausen and
Ruby (Williamson) Holzhausen.
Survivors include his parents, children-Michael Holzhausen (wife Dana) of Greenfield,
Bambi Garrison (husband Jason) of Shelbyville, Chris Holzhausen (wife Ashley)
of Columbus; siblings-Steve Holzhausen (wife Kristy) of Shelbyville, Regina
Holzhausen of Shelbyville; grandchildren- Tristian, Ryleigh, Chloe, Macy,
Colton, Jake, Julie & Elle.
Mr. Holzhausen was a lifetime resident of this area, and graduated from
Shelbyville High School in 1977. He had been a pipe fitter for 15 years
working on large projects across the country, and had previously been employed
with Holzhausen Construction for many years.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing,
kayaking, hiking, playing sports, playing his guitar, and walking his dogs.
He and his father "solved all the world's problems" during their daily, morning phone
conversations. He loved working with his hands, spending time with his family, and watching
his grandkids play sports, He always cheered for the underdog.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2019 at
Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road with
Pastor Daniel McDonald & Pastor Tim Streeval officiating. Burial will
be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00am
until the time of the service.
