Maurice W. "Budd" Ensminger, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019
at MHP Medical Center, from complications of Parkinson's disease.
Budd was preceded in death by his father, Wade Ensminger of Shelbyville, and his sister
Janice Daffron of Jamestown, Kentucky. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Ensminger
of Shelbyville, sister Margaret Garnett (husband Dennis) of Florence, Kentucky, his son
Wade H. Haney (wife Michelle) of Ray's Crossing, one grandchild Wade D. Haney of
Shelbyville, one niece Amanda Posz of Erlanger, Kentucky, and one nephew Wade Daffron
of Jamestown, Kentucky.
Mr. Ensminger graduated from Triton Central High School in 1963 and Penn State University
Farrier's school. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Fairland Masonic Lodge,
Scottish Rite, American Legion, and was a former member of the Murat Shrine. He retired
from Chrysler Corporation in 2003 after 38 years of service.
Budd loved listening to music, watching movies, and was an avid reader.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral
Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Bill Horner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm, at which
time a Masonic Service will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, it is the family's request that contributions be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's
Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, Maryland, 21741, or Shriner's Hospital Fund, in care of the
funeral home.
