Naomi Ruth Fuchs, 80, of Blue Ridge,passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at her residence.
Born May 12, 1939 in North Baltimore, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul E. Eninger and Margaret
(Wagler) Eninger. She married Don W. Fuchs on October 1, 1961 and he survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons- Kevin Fuchs (spouse Alfonso Ochoa) of Chicago, Illinois, Matt Fuchs
(wife Mary) of Shelbyville; 2 sisters- Esther Gahimer (husband Sonny) of Manilla,Rachel Markley of
Fountaintown; 6 nephews, 1 niece, and several other nieces and nephews; 3 grandchildren- Dakota
Fuchs, Caleb Fuchs (wife Hannah), Megan Fuchs;one great granddaughter- Merideth Ann Fuchs,
one step granddaughter Melissa Morrow, and 4
step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul & Margaret Eninger.
Mrs. Fuchs had lived most of her lifetime in this area and was a home maker. She had previously been
employed for several years for Southwestern School Corporation and worked at Cunningham Gardens
for 15 years. She graduated from Manilla High School in 1957 and was a 61 year member of Blue Ridge
Christian Union Church, and the Ladies Christian Union Women's Fellowship. She was the State Christian Union
Council Secretary for 38 years, a 50 year member of the Buzzin Duzzin Homemaker's Extension Club,
a Major Hospital volunteer, and Official Bookkeeper for Southwestern High School volleyball and basketball for 35 years.
Naomi enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, gardening and flowers, needlework, and writing letters to her
world wide pen pals. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren, and cherished every moment she spent
with them.
Funeral services will be 10:00am on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Blue Ridge Christian Union Church, 466 S.
775 E. Blue Ridge, with Rev. Jim Thurman officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Paul Morrison, and Rev. Theron
St.John. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be observed on Friday evening, August 9, 2019
at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm.

in care of the funeral home.
