Virginia F. Griffin

Virginia F. Griffin, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at MHP
Medical Center.
Born May 31, 1955 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Johnny and Marjorie (Lindsey)
Caffee.  She married Frank Griffin on May 1, 2001 and he survives.
Other survivors include daughters- Bryceena Pettis (fiancé Michael Sweet) of Shelbyville, 
Brittany Flannery (husband Charles) of Shelbyville, sons- Frank Griffin (wife Reyanne) of
Anderson, Ben Caffee (wife Tiffany) of Shelbyville; brother Myron Caffee (wife Audrey) of 
Marietta, sister Rachel Jones (fiancé Steve White) of North Carolina; and 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Bryce Caffee.
Mrs. Griffin had lived in this area her entire lifetime, and graduated from Southwestern High
School in 1973.  She was a home maker, but had previously worked at Best Buy Warehouse
in Franklin for 9 years.  She was also a licensed beautician and a professional cake decorator
for a period of time. She attended Community Christian Church.
Virginia enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards, dogs, collecting antique dishes, and being
with family during the holidays.
Funeral servies will be 1:00 pm on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Dennis Hirschauer officiating.  Friends may call
on Monday morning, November 4, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Burial 
will be in Miller Cemetery.
