Wayne Stewart Obituary


Wayne Stewart, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019
at his residence.
Born September 25, 1957 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Forster Stewart and
Lucy Ann (Davidson) Stewart.
Survivors include 2 children- Jeremy Stewart (wife Jessica) of Shelbyville, Angela
Stewart of Shelbyville; fiancé Sheila Richards of Indianapolis; 3 brothers- Larry Stewart
(wife LaDonna) of Shelbyville, Wendell Stewart of Geneva, Forster Lynn Stewart (wife
Rachael) of Shelbyville, sister Patricia Morgan of Shelbyville; 10 grandchildren- Mackenzi
Burton, Jordan Stewart, Kaylee Stewart, Tim Leberos, Tony Torres, Cheyanne Richards,
Allissa Zetina, Payton Richards, Kayleigh Morris, Rayland Morris; and one great grandchild
Rhyker Smiley.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lonnie Stewart, and sister
Janice Nash.
Mr. Stewart was a lifelong resident of this area, and attended Shelbyville High School.  He  had
been self employed as a  glass glazer with his business, Wayne's Glass a & Mirror for 10 years
retiring in 2019.  He had previously been employed with Adam's Glass for over 30 years.  
Wayne enjoyed his black coffee, hunting, fishing, working on cars, joking with friends and acquaintances,
and spending time with his family and grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Glenn E. George and Son Funeral
Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Jerome Baker officiating.  Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.  Friends
may call on Friday morning from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.  
Memorial  contributions can be made to the National Rifle Association, in care of the funeral home.
