Obituary

Amy Lynn Polston, 37, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at her residence.

Born April 27, 1986 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Robert Childers and Sharon (Bennett) Smothers.

Survivors include her father Robert of Urbana, Ohio; siblings- Robert "Robbie" Childers, Mindy Janel Wicker,  Robert Lee Childers; and nephews Nicholas Arnold and Wayne Wicker Jr.  She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon and her grandparents.

Amy loved her family passionately. She enjoyed Florida and the ocean, fishing, drawing, the outdoors, collecting rocks and collecting purses and hand bags of all sorts.

Services will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Bryan Justice officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, on Saturday morning, from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Amy Polston Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
