Anthony Lee "Tony" McColley, Sr., 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020
at his residence.
Born July 2, 1954 in Shelbyville, he was the son of James McColley and Millie (Applegate) McColley.
Survivors include a son Anthony "Tony" McColley (wife Tammy) of Shelbyville, a daughter Kelly Balting
(husband Tim) of Shelbyville; 2 brothers- Kerry McColley (wife Terry) of Shelbyville, Rick McColley of Florida,
1 sister Roxie Suits (husband Randy) of Shelbyville; the mother of his children Lisa (Covington) Kitchin of
Shelbyville; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and great 
granddaughter Kayla.
Mr. McColley was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1973.
He worked in construction his entire working career, and was employed by several different local construction companies.
He was a US Army veteran.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437
Amos Road, with Pastor Steve Bohall officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from
9:00 am until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, where a military graveside service will
be conducted by a local veterans organization.
