Barbara Jean Miller, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021
at Ashford Place Health Campus.
Born October 28, 1943 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of 
Graydon H. Cook and Helen Elizabeth (Cayton) Cook.  She married Leonard
Allen Miller on November 9, 1963 and he preceded her on March 5, 2010.
Survivors include 4 children- Barbara Baumann (husband Mark) of Lake Wales
Florida, Charles Miller (wife Darlene) of Midwest City Oklahoma, Laraine Zook of
Shelbyville Indiana, Graydon Miller (wife Tina) of Shelbyville; 2 sisters- Helen Kelly
(husband Brian) of Shelbyville, Sheryl Doerzbacher (husband Donald) of Fort Gratiot
Michigan;  7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, and she was very excited for
the new one coming in November.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her
spouse, a sister Margaret Cook, brother-in-law Charles Cook, and nephew Nicholas
Cuda.
Mrs. Miller had lived in this area since 1984, and was a home maker.  She graduated
from high school in Pittsburgh in  1961, and was a member of St. Mark's  Lutheran Church
in Pittsburgh.
Barbara loved spending time with her family, and watching her grandchildren and great
grandchildren grow.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Glenn E. George
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Bruce Banister officiating.  Burial will
be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 11:00 am until
the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the
funeral home.
