Barbara Russell Obituary


Barbara H. Russell, 75, of Manilla, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at Aperion Care in Waldron. 
Born November 14,1944 in Richmond, KY, she was the daughter of Lewis & Julia (Parker)
Eades Brown. She married George Russell on March 10,1973 and he preceded her on March 16,2003.
Survivors include children-Timothy Russell of Rushville; Ceressia Waltz (partner John Merida) of Greenfield;
Nicole Palmer (husband Kenneth) of Manilla; Susan McCallister (husband Nick) of Arlington; siblings Lois
Evans (husband Clark) of Swayzee,IN; Burnis Eades (wife Diane) of Peebles,OH; Tammy Hunsinger  (husband
David) of Homer ;grandchildren Jennifer, Ashley, Kristin, Nicole, Quinton, Erin, Kheonna, Pache', Kinsey, Nakia,
Kenna, Bexley, Jaden and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse,
son James Anthony DeVary and brother Jimmie Eades.
Mrs. Russell had lived in this area for over 50 years after moving from Kentucky. She was a homemaker.
Barbara enjoyed playing cards, swimming in her pool, flowers, reading, and spending time with her 
family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home,
437 Amos Rd with Pastor Troy Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Manilla Cemetery in Manilla.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00am until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to OUR Hospice of South Central Indiana in care of the funeral home.
