Beverly J. Stout

Beverly J. Stout, 92, of Morristown, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at Franciscan House.
Born October 16, 1928 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Ralph E. John and Neva Blanche
(Wicker) John.  She married Joseph E. Stout on October 20, 1946 and he preceded her on May 18, 2006.
Survivors include 3 sons- Rick Stout (wife Diane) of Morristown, Jerry Stout (wife Cherie) of New Palestine,
Phil Stout (wife Sara) of Shelbyville; 2 daughters- Teresa Willard (husband Greg) of Fountaintown, Leisa
Morris (husband Phil) of New Palestine; one brother Garth John (wife Elaine) of Greenfield; 13 grandchildren-
Riley Martin, Megan Kuhn, Shane & Kreigh Stout, Stephanie Kirstein, Jennifer Stout, Christina Boyer, Phillip
Stout, Grant, Jason, & Jaret Willard, Traci Verstegen, Jamie Morris; and 22 great grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, and great grandson Cole Martin.
Mrs. Stout was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Manilla High School in 1946.  She was a
home maker, but had worked as a teller with Shelby County Bank for many years.  She was a member of
Morristown Christian Church and the Homemaker's Club.
Beverly enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, and helping with her daughter's preschool class.  She loved her 
family and grandchildren, and spending time with them.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home,
437 Amos road, with Pastor Fred Hickman officiating.  Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery.  Friends may call
on Monday evening, August 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
