Carl J. Loveless

Carl J. Loveless, 75, of Navarre, Florida, former Shelbyville resident, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at IU Health in Bloomington.
 Born February 22, 1945 in Indiana, he was the son of Delbert and Eromon (Johnson) Loveless. He married Sarah E. (Coffey) Loveless on March 3, 1963 and she survives.
Other survivors include 3 children- Arlene Mitchell of Navarre, Florida, Carl R. Loveless of Greenfield, Michael (Wife Staci) Loveless of MItchell, IN; 4 siblings- Moneida (Husband Glenn) George of St. Paul, Charles (Wife Marcia) Loveless of Shelby County, Jenny (Husband Conrad) Braunagle of Shelby County, and David (Wife Cecilia) Loveless of Anderson, IN; 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Herb Loveless and 1 sister Ruby Buck.
Mr. Loveless was a resident of Shelby County for 55 years, graduating from Shelbyville High School in 1963. He worked as a sub station maintenance man for Cinergy.  After retiring he went on the road, evangelizing around  the country for the last 20+ years. Carl was a long time member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Shelbyville.. Carl and Sarah were happily married for 57 years. Carl dedicated his life to the work of the Lord. 
Funeral services will be at 6pm on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor William H. Roberts officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until time of service.
A graveside service will be held at Miller Cemetery on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11am. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st Calvary Apostolic Church of Martinsville, IN in care of the funeral home.
