Darla Riehle Obituary


Darla Ellen Riehle, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021
at her residence.
Born December 25, 1954 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Milton Emerson
Hauk and Norah (Moore) Hauk.  She married Tom Riehle in May of 1980 and he 
survives.
Other survivors include a son Michael Riehle (wife Aida) of Arlington Texas, daughter
Felicia Clemons (husband Harlan) of Indianapolis; 3 siblings- Jean Chandler (husband
Joseph) of Milroy, Milton Charles Hauk (wife Connie) of North Vernon, Jeffery Hauk of
Manilla, Philippines; and 5 grandchildren- Molly, Sienna, August, Harlan, and Brittany.  
She was preceded  in death by her parents.
Mrs. Riehle was a lifelong  resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School.
She was a home maker and a member of Shelbyville Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In earlier years, Darla enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband.  She loved her dogs
and animals, making crafts and jewelry, and dearly loved her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with burial in Bennett Cemetery.  Friends may call on Monday
morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to:  Shelbyville Seventh Day Adventist Church, in care
of the funeral home.
