Darrell Tucker Obituary


Darrell Wayne Tucker, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020
at St. Francis Hospital.
Born August 7, 1956 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dennis Tucker and Pauline
(Smith) Tucker.
Survivors include 1 brother Douglas Tucker (wife Darlynn) of Shelbyville; 2 sisters-
Theresa Hedden and Connie L. James, both of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death
by his parents, 2 brothers Dennis Dale Tucker and Danny E. Tucker.
Mr. Tucker was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High
School and Blue River Vocational School.  He had been employed with Arco Electric
for 14 years, and previously worked at Coca Cola for 8 years.  He was a member of 
Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church.
Darrell enjoyed fishing, watching sports on TV, and was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball
fan.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Glenn E. George 
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.   Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.   Friends may
 call on Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the  time of the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church, in care of the
funeral home.
