Obituary


David A. Elliott, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away June 13, 2022 at MHP Medical Center. Born November 14, 1946 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Arthur Gorrell and Goldie Beatrice (Redd) Elliott.

Survivors include 3 sons- Chad Elliott (wife Charity) of Shelbyville, Shawn Elliott (Wendy Price) of Shelbyville, Robert Elliott (wife Brenda) of Shelbyville;  a sister Tonya Waltz of Franklin; and several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, half brother Bud, and half sister Eunice.

Mr. Elliott was a lifelong resident of this area, and retired from KCL Corp. in 2002 after 37 years of service.  He had attended Shelbyville High School.

Graveside services will be 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Hebron Cemetery in Adams.  Friends may call at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
