Daylene DeBolt

Daylene DeBolt, 73, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Franklin Meadows.
Born November 5,1946, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Gordon O. and Winifred
(LeMasters) Thurston. She married William F. DeBolt and he preceded her in death in 1974.
Survivors include a son Kyle Scott DeBolt of Shelbyville; brothers Gordon Thurston of Shelbyville,
Anthony J. Johns of Shelbyville, sister Beth Alford of South Carolina; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse and son David DeBolt.
Daylene had lived in this area her entire lifetime and had graduated from Shelbyville High School
in 1964. She had been employed with One America treasury dept.  for 20 + years and retired from there. She 
was a member of West St. United Methodist Church and a member of American Legion
Auxiliary. 
Daylene enjoyed watching movies, swimming, shopping, collecting books, animals, and was
one of the kindest people anyone would ever meet.
A private graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 31,2020 at Forest Hill Cemetery
with Pastor Ed Mohr officiating.
