Deborah K. "Debbie" McMillin

Deborah K. "Debbie" McMillin, 68, of Fairland, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021
at her resident.  
Born November 2, 1952 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Eugene and Dortha
(Antle) Beck.  She married James R. "Randy" McMillin on April 5, 1975 and he survives.
Other survivors include 4 daughters- Christa Alcala (husband David) of Indianapolis, Amanda
Ennis (husband Dave) of Greenwood, Sandy Hardesty (husband Michael) of Fairland, Chelsea
McMillin of Fairland; 2 brothers- Gary Beck (wife Roberta) of Indianapolis, Danny Beck (wife
Angel) of St. Augustine Florida; 3 sisters- Ginger Goble (husband Mark) of Indianapolis, Connie
Schank (husband Charlie) of Beech Grove, Robin Underwood (husband Chris) of Mooresville; 
best friend Doraine Carroll of Beech Grove; and 12 grandchilldren.  She was preceded in death
by her parents, 2 sisters- Carol Shahan & Sandy Beck; mother & father-in-law Dona & Jay
Lockwood; granddaughter Sarah Rhodes, and best friend Karen Lookebill.
Mrs. McMillin had lived in this area since 1979, after moving from Indianapolis.  She attended 
Manual High School, and was a member of Crossroads Community Church.  She was a home
maker, and had previously worked for 28 years at Farm Fans in Beech Grove.
Debbie enjoyed reading her Bible, and attending church, cooking, shopping, walking, dining out, 
 spending time with her family, and attending her grandchildren's activities.  She loved to serve
others.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Crossroads Community Church,
475 E. Progress Parkway, Shelbyville, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.  Burial will be in Fairland
Cemetery.  Friends may call on Sunday evening, August 8, 2021 from 5-8:00 pm, at the church.
