Debra G. Caruthers

Debra G. Caruthers, 67, of Fairland, passed away November 21, 2022 at her residence.

Born March 20, 1955 in Tennessee, she was the daughter of Samuel Boles and Carolyn (Hill) Boles.  She married Michael Caruthers on February 23, 1973 and he preceded her on December 21, 2021.

Survivors include 2 daughters- Crystal Cord (husband Jeremy) of Fairland, Brandi Stover (husband Derek) of Shelbyville; a sister Connie Humphreys of Shelbyville; a brother Ron Boles (wife Susan) of Fairland; 6 grandchildren- Chad, Paige, Gage (wife Grace), Cole, Ema, and Jackson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, sister Jonie Shelton, and a daughter Kelly Caruthers.

Mrs. Caruthers had lived in this area for most of her lifetime, and graduated from Triton Central High School in 1973.  She was a homemaker. Debra enjoyed crocheting, attending flea markets and antique malls, and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially loved her little dogs Ella and Bella.

A Celebration of Life with be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.  Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
