Dennis C. Wicker Jr.

Dennis C. Wicker, Jr., 73, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at his residence. 

Born October 6, 1948 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dennis C. Wicker Sr. and Virginia (Mann) Wicker.  

Survivors include 3 sisters- Mary Alice Zinman (husband Jim) of Shelbyville, Ann Ogden (husband Mike) of Colorado, and Georgia Wertze (husband Bobby) of Shelbyville.   He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Wicker was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High School. He was a US Air Force veteran. Dennis loved dogs and cats.  He had a daily route for feeding neighborhood animals while in his wheelchair, and he also loved riding his motorcycle.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating.  Burial will be in Fairland
Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
