Diana Hendrickson

Diana Hendrickson, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Walker House Assisted Living. Born September 21, 1953 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Warren Hendrickson and Ruby May (Sipes) Hendrickson.  

Survivors include a brother Bobby G. Hendrickson (wife Margaret) of Acadia Indiana, a sister Nilah K. Barrett (husband Jim) of Winston Salem,  North Carolina; nieces Penny Giaquinto, Tammy Ferguson; and special friends Patricia Putoff, Miriam Sorrell, Stephanie & Doug Parrish; and her pet dog Valentine.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Georgia M. Baker.

Ms. Hendrickson was a lifelong resident of this area, and attended Hendricks Township and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1971.  She retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis
in 2002 after 30 years of employement. Diana enjoyed hiking, singing, and playing the piano.  Three words that sum up the life of Diana would be...family, friends, and animals.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on  Monday, May 2, 2022 at Norristown Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her parents.  Chaplain Tom Bartley will officiate.
