Donald Emerson Faulconer Jr.

Donald Emerson Faulconer, Jr, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday , November 15, 2023, at his home. Born January 17, 1955, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Donald Emerson Faulconer, Sr. and Virginia Marie McComas Faulconer. He married Jeanneen Marie Hines Faulconer on August 15, 1983 and she survives.

Other survivors include his mother; Virginia Faulconer of Greensburg;  4 children: Sons:  Jeremy (Jennifer) Faulconer of Ohio; Shawn (Cari) Faulconer of Shelbyville; Brandon Faulconer of Shelbyville; and  daughter, Andrea (Shadreck) Kamwendo of Indianapolis. He is also survived by sisters: Ginny (Ric) Brown of Waldron; Peggy Cdevaca of Shelbyville; and Karen (Gerald) Miller of Taylorsville; and brother, Kevin ( Jane) Faulconer of Greensburg.

Donald is also survived by four grandchildren: Triniti, Christian, Calan, and Damian and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father. 

Mr. Faulconer was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Southwestern High School. He was an equipment operator at Knauf Insulation for 45 years, having retired in 2019.  He attended Shelbyville Community Church.  He enjoyed golfing, Nascar, Pacers and IU basketball, Indianapolis Colts football, Cincinnati Reds baseball, and watching his grandchildren play sports and Fine arts. 

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at the Shelbyville Community Church, 720 North 325 East, Shelbyville with Dr. Daniel R. Stahl officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.  Friends may call on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4 - 8pm at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Bridge Ministries in care of the funeral home.
