Donald Bruce Willey, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020
at MHP Medical Center.
Born March 18, 1948 in Manilla, he was the son of Roy Willey and Blanche (Breedlove)
Willey.
Survivors include 8 children- Randy Willey of Shelbyville, Robin Loveless of Shelbyville,
Rebecca Jones (husband Randy) of Shelbyville, Amy Sandman of Shelbyville, Jade Willey
of Los Angeles, California, Autum Kuhn (husband Mauri) of Waldron, Christine Smith (fiance
Brian Brown) of Fairland, Ciara Minner (husband Brian) of Fountaintown; 3 sisters- Bonnie 
Abrams of Manilla, Mary Huffman of Waldron, Betty Lollar of Edinburgh; 20 grandchildren,
and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and and 8 brothers
and sisters.
Mr. Willey was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Manilla High School in
1966. He was a machine operator/union steward at Navistar in Indianapolis for 43 years.
He had attended Rays Crossing Christian Union Church and was a member of United
Auto Worker's (UAW).
Bruce was an avid race fan and loved attending the Indianapolis 500, watching college
basketball and football, and dearly loved his family and grandchildren, and spending time 
with them.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral
Home,  437 Amos Road, with Pastor Ed Mohr officiating.  Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening, June 4, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral
home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children's Hospital Ronald McDonald House or
the MHP Foundation for the   great care received from the ICU unit.
