Donna S. Hazelbaker

Donna S. Hazelbaker , 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at
MHP Medical Center.  
Born July 24, 1943 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of John W. Hite and Helen
Louise (Benefiel) Hite.
Survivors include her long time companion Bob Kemple of Shelbyville; 5 children-
Jeff Hazelbaker (wife Janice) of Danville, Indiana, Todd Hazelbaker (wife Jeannie) of Indianapolis,
Troy Hazelbaker (wife Crystal) of Bumpass, Virginia, Ronda Hazelbaker of Danville, Judd 
Hazelbaker (wife Shylo) of Shelbyville;  4 stepchildren- Alisa Fisher of Shelbyville, Brian
Kemple (wife Danilla) of Indianapolis, Katrina Vierling of Shelbyville, Bobbi McLane (husband
Todd) of Shelbyville; 2 sisters- Charlene Stiers of Shelbyville, Jonna Powers (husband Danny) 
of Shelbyville; 19 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, and 9 step great 
grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Hazelbaker had lived in this area since 1967.  She had been employed with Wal Mart in
Home  and Garden  department for 10 years, and prior to that had been a factory worker at
KT Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 2008.   She was a member of Luv Bugs Square Dance Club,
 and a former member of the Moose Lodge  Auxiliary.
Donna enjoyed playing slots at the casino and going on cruises.  She loved her grand dogs and
her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home,
437 Amos Road, with Pastor Seth Taylor officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends
may call from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Friday morning.  
Memorial contributions can be made to Shelby County Cancer Association, in care of the funeral home.
