Elizabeth Dian "Buffy" DeBolt, 49, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021
at MHP Medical Center.
Born January 7, 1972 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Bruce and Sheryl (Tucker)
Benefiel.  She married David DeBolt on April 1, 2014 and he preceded her on August 27, 2018.
Survivors include 4 children- Morgan Tuck (husband Bryson) of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee,
Dustin Blanford of Lafayette Tennessee, Darien DeBolt of Shelbyville, Connor DeBolt of Shelbyville;
fiance Mark Garman of Shelbyville; 2 brothers- James Murphy of Shelbyville, Troy Benefiel (wife
Jennifer) of Shelbyville, one sister Dawna Tackett (husband George) of Edinburgh; 5 grandchildren-
Kolbie Mae Tuck, Rylan Yarnell, Charlie DeBolt, Leo Blanford, and Zelda O'Dell.  She was preceded
in death by her spouse David.
Mrs. DeBolt lived in this area for most of her lifetime, and graduated from Shelbyville High School in
1990.  She was an account manager at American Rentals for several years.
Buffy loved music, animals, and her family.
Funeral services will be 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral 
Home, 437 Amos Road.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday afternoon
from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to: Buffy DeBolt Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
