Frank R. "Frankie" Runnebohm, 82, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021
at Essentia Health in Duluth Minnesota.
Born November 2, 1938 in Shelby County, he was the son of Frank A. Runnebohm and Dorothy
(Crossley) Runnebohm. He married Sue (Ash) Runnebohm on October 1, 1960 and she survives.
Other survivors include a son Jason Runnebohm (wife Terri) of Shelbyville; a sister Judy George
(husband Jim) of Shelbyville; brother-in-law Walter "Pete" Osting of Rushville; granddaughter Mollie
Runnebohm; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother
Clifford Runnebohm, and a sister Patty Osting.
Mr. Runnebohm was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School in 1957.
He was a truck driver for Shelby Materials for 30 years, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church,
a lifetime member of Knight's of Columbus, a member of American Legion, and a long time member
of the Varmits. He was a US Army veteran.
Frankie enjoyed fishing, traveling, woodworking, and worshipped his granddaughter Mollie, who gave
him the nickname of "Poppy". He loved his family and the time that he spent with them.
No funeral services will be observed.
