Gary Mozingo Obituary


Gary L. Mozingo, age 67 of Shelbyville, IN passed away September 17, 2021 at Major Hospital.
He was born November 20, 1953 in Greensburg, IN the son of the late John E. Mozingo and Delma L. (Evans)
Mozingo. 
He married Theresa L. (Pittman) Mozingo on April 2, 2011.
He was a 1971 graduate of North Decatur High School.
Gary worked in auto manufacturing for 5 years previously he was a truck driver for 25 years with Continental
Kitchens. He also was a Deputy Marshall for St. Paul, IN and was on the St. Paul Fire Department. Gary was also 
a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa L. (Pittman) Mozingo; children, Amy L. (James) DeMartino-Shelbyville, IN;
Heather R. (Ty) Branson of Shelbyville, IN; and Ashley R. (Chris) Berry of Shelbyville, IN; his grandchildren
Brooke, Jack, Tyler, Kirsten, Brody, Layden and Bryce.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild, Dalton DeMartino.
He loved his family and loved playing with his grandkids, loved to be outdoors. He also loved to work on cars
and muscle cars. His favorite cars was a 1967 Chevy SS, a Chevy Impala, Chevy Nova and International
trucks and loved to ride his motorcycle.
Visitation for Gary will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 4 to 6pm in Glenn E. George Funeral Home,
106 E. Franklin St., St. Paul, IN. Funeral services will follow at 6pm in the funeral home with Pastor George
Mitchell officiating.
Memorial contributions may be offered to the Shelby County Cancer Society.
