Helen Pauline Davis Wasson, 100, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020
at Aspen Place Health Campus.
Born December 16, 1919 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Ligonal Davis Sr, and
Ethan (Parks) Davis. She married Harry Ray Wasson in 1941 and he preceded her in 1997.
Survivors include 3 children- James Wasson of Indianapolis, Mike Wasson (wife Donna) of
Florida, Cindy Scales (husband William) of Whiteland; brother John Davis of Decatur County,
sister Ethel May Soroko of Ohio; grandchildren Allan, Anita & Todd Wasson & Grace Marley;
6 great grand children; and  2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, spouse & 5 brothers & sisters and daughter in law Carmen Wasson. 
Helen had lived in Decatur County her entire lifetime and had been a homemaker. She 
graduated from Burney High School, was a member of Burney Baptist Church and 
Candle lighters Home Ec Club & Eastern Star.
Helen enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing cards, and spending time with family & friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral 
Home, 437 Amos Rd, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on
Thursday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
