Jason Sean "Redbeard" Kessler

Jason Sean "Redbeard" Kessler, 31,of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday,
July 8, 2020 at his residence.
Born December 29, 1988 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Paul Richard Kessler,Jr.
and Linda (Wiley) Kessler.
Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; 2 daughters- Jessica Lynn Kessler and
Janessa Layne Kessler, both of Shelbyville; a brother- Jeremy Kessler (wife Kyrie)
of Shelbyville; sister Jodi Kirk of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.  
Mr. Kessler was a lifelong resident of this area and attended Shelbyville High School.
He had been  employed as a cook with several local restaurants including Cow Palace,
Riverfront Taproom, and Pudder's.
Jason enjoyed cooking, building robot kits, and fixing whatever needed repair.  He loved 
children and animals, and would literally give you the "shirt off of his back" if needed.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son 
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Michael Farnsley officiating.  Visitation will
be observed from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Jessica and Janessa Kessler College Fund,
in care of the funeral home.
