Jeanette L. Lemmons

Jeanette L. Lemmons, 77, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 21, 2023. 

Jeanette was born on May 23, 1946, to Joseph Owen and Mildred (Frisbee) Owen in Rush County. She married Riley Lemmons on July 26, 1963, and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2014. Survivors include; daughters Dawn (Husband Jeff) Blanford, Nicole Lemmons, and Wendy (Robert Bergold) Lemmons. 1 sister JoAnn Gahimer, and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.

Jeanette was a self employed Beautician for 38 years, retiring in 2005, and was also the Noble township trustee for 9 years, and was still the trustee at the time of her passing. She was a member of the Star Baptist Church and also a member of the St. Paul Women's Auxiliary. Mrs. Lemmons was "everyone's mom" and her home was everyone's home. She was loved and adored by her nieces and nephews. 

 A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Star Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
