Jerry W. McKenney

Jerry W. McKenney, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020
at St. Francis Hospital.
Born September 23,1944 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Fred McKenney Sr. and
Alice Eldora (Bowman) McKenney. He married Beverly (Baker) McKenney on 
July 1, 1965 and she survives.
Other survivors include 2 daughters-Alicia Nickel (husband Mike) of Shelbyville, 
Nanette McKenney of Shelbyville; and brother Ronald McKenney (wife
Theresia) of Cumberland. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother
Fred McKenney Jr, and sister Carolyn Johnson.
Mr. McKenney graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1962 and had lived
in this area his entire lifetime. Jerry was project manager for 61 years at
Major Hospital/MHP Medical Center.
Jerry loved woodworking and fishing.
Funeral services will be 10:00am,  Monday, June 15,2020 at Glenn E. George 
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd, with Rev. Bruce Bannister officiating.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the funeral home, where
casual attire is requested. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the MHP Foundation in care of the funeral home.
