Jesse J. Craig

Jesse J. Craig, 78, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at MHP Medical Center.
Born July 31,1941 in Albany, Kentucky, he was the son of Jim & Gertrude (Norris) Craig. He married
Leona (Anders) Craig on October 13,1961 and she survives.
Other survivors include children Jeff Craig (wife Chris) of Shelbyville, Wendell Craig (wife Mary) of Shelbyville,
Jimmy Craig (wife Lori) of Shelbyville;  sisters Mary Burchett of Shelbyville, Eva Dean Buster of
Albany, KY;  grandchildren Kyle Craig (fiancé Lyndsay) of Shelbyville, Shannon Conner (husband
Matt) of Spring Hill FL;  3 great grandchildren Emily Conner, Khloe Craig & Graysyn Buster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Luther & Charlie Craig and sister Jane Brown.
Mr. Craig spent most of his lifetime in this area after moving from Kentucky. He was a truck driver for several
years with several different companies, a bartender at Cobb's Tavern for several years, and in his later
years he bought, sold and rehabbed homes. Jesse attended school in Albany, Kentucky,  and was a member 
of Eagles Lodge in Shelbyville.
Jesse enjoyed fishing and dearly loved his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm on Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor
Joe Smith officiating.  No public visitation hours will be observed, due to the current health mandates.
