Jody Lynn Hopper

Jody Lynn Hopper, 65, of Fairland, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021
at Franciscan Health.
Born May 28, 1955 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Shirley Hensley.
She married Bud Hopper on April 6, 1974 and he survives.
Other survivors include 4 sons- Kenny Hopper (fiance Amanda) of Indianapolis,
Kevin Hopper of Fairland, Christopher Hopper of Indianapolis, Brett Hopper
(wife Kassandra) of Greensburg; one sister- Janice Canan of Ingalls; 5 grand
children- Allie, Hannah, Maddie, Blake, and Amelia.  She was preceded in death by 
her parents, brother Joe Rutherford, and daughter-in-law Kristina Hopper.
Mrs. Hopper was a lifelong resident of this area, and attended John Marshall High
School in Indianapolis. She was a cafeteria worker at Triton Central High School for
 over 15 years.
Jody enjoyed her co-workers and her time spent at work, camping, traveling to Las
Vegas, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Friends may call  on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm
at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.  No funeral service will
be observed.
Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association, in care of the
funeral home.
