John A. Parsons

John A. Parsons, 75, of Waldron, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his residence.
Born June 27, 1945 in Missouri, he was the son of John A. Parsons and Sarah A. Davis.
He married Mary Jo Parsons in 1988 and she preceded him in death in 2019.
Survivors include daughter- April Guilherme of Pennsylvania; 34 grandchildren; 21
great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by his wife, 2 sons- Mark Edwards and Michael Overholser and daughter Diane.
John grew up in Pueblo, New Mexico but lived in this area most of his lifetime. He
was an independent Truck Driver, a member of American Legion and was a veteran
of the US Army. John loved collecting wrestling memorabilia, camping with his wife,
cooking, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be 6:00pm, Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Glenn E. George &
Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00pm until 
the time of the service.
