Josephine Drucilla "Betty Jo" Lambert, 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019
at her residence.
Born October 4, 1931 in Pulaski County Kentucky, she was the daughter of Florence (Vaughn)
Loveless. She married Jack R. Lambert on December 18, 1953 and he preceded her on April 8, 2011.
Survivors include a daughter- Judy K. Gross (husband Randy) of New Castle; a sister Margaret Nelson
of Indianapolis; 2 grandchildren-Andrew Gross (wife Christina) of Oklahoma, Alicia Pulido (husband Anthony)
of Shelbyville; 7 great grandchildren- Ethan Gross, Halie Gross, Nolan Gross, Ava Gross, Alan Pulido, Austin
Pulido, and Abigail Pulido, who will be arriving shortly. She was preceded in death by her mother, step father
Dave Loveless, and her spouse.
Mrs. Lambert had lived in this area since 1947, after moving from Kentucky. She was a homemaker, but had in
earlier years worked at the Garment Factory for several years. She was a long time member of Apostolic
Tabernacle Church.
Betty Jo loved to cook, quilt, sew, attend church, and dearly loved her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 1500 Miller Avenue,
with Rev. Robert Cavaness, Pastor Daniel McDonald and Pastor Jeffrey Emmitt officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-
7:00 pm Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019, at the church. Burial will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.
