Linda Emerick Obituary

Linda A. (Muck) Emerick, 75, passed away at her home, on July 19, 2020.  She was born in Indianapolis on January 29, 1945 to Carroll W. and Julia M. (Carvin) Muck, who preceded her in death.

    Linda graduated from Southwestern High School in 1963 and attended Evansville College. She worked at Farm Bureau Co-op for a short time before starting their family-owned corporation, Hillrow Inc. in 1966.

    She later became President/CEO of 2 water utility companies in Florida.  Linda also served as Shelby County Democrat Chairman from 1990-2000.  

    Linda enjoyed watching birds in the back yard, music, politics, and genealogy.

    Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wray D. Emerick, her daughter, Dee Ann (Randy) Ellington, grandson, Robert Wray Goble, brother, David L. (Linda) Muck, and sister, Brenda R. (Don) Runyon.

    Her final resting place will be at St. George Lutheran Church cemetery with private, grave-side services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

   In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request monetary donations be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana @ 2626 E. 17th St., Columbus, IN  47201, in memory of Linda Emerick.
