Lois A. Anderson, 89, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021
at Heritage House.
Born September 1, 1932 in Concord California, she was the daughter of Frederick
Archer Mason and Mabel Grace (Burdick) Mason. She married Eugene "Gene" W.
Anderson Jr., on June 20, 1998 and he survives.
Other survivors include 6 children- Sherryl Alexander of North Fort Myers, Florida,
JoAnn Kelsay (husband Greg) of Shelbyville, Alison Stafford (husband Todd) of
Canal Winchester, Ohio, Patia Poling (husband Kevin) of Campbellsville, Kentucky,
Eugene W. Anderson III (wife Sheryl) of Syracuse, New York, Eric Anderson (wife
Kathryn) of Mason, Ohio; a niece Dolly Mason of Redding, California; 22 grandchildren,
and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother
Fred Mason, sister Miriam Mason, an earlier spouse Stanley Puckett, and a son
Michael Puckett.
Mrs. Anderson had lived in this area since 2008, after moving from Cape Coral Florida.
She owned and operated Second Hand Rose, a retail consignment shop in Cape
Coral for 20 years. She had also worked as a caterer and real estate broker, and was
a home maker. She graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in Concord California,
and attended East Los Angeles Community College. She was a member of the Order of
Eastern Star and the Rainbow Girls.
No funeral services are planned at this time.
