Maggie Hasecuster Obituary


Maggie Hasecuster, 88, of St. Paul, passed away on September 15, 2022, at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg.

She was born November 20,1933 to Jake Moyer and Alma (Hazel) Moyer in Fayette, Missouri.

Survivors include 3 daughters- Kelly Eward of St. Paul, Tracy (Rusty) Stephens of Geneva, and Shannon (Jeff) Schneider of St. Paul. Also surviving are siblings Odell Mclammer, Gladys Walker, and Jake Moyer Jr. all of Missouri; Grandchildren Damien Gooch, Kyle (Desha) Schneider, Kody (Jackie) Schneider, step grandchildren Tyson Stephens. Sarah (Jeff) Martin, and Brianna (Alvaro) Sanchez, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 sister Julia Theobald.
 

Maggie graduated from Fayette High School in 1951, and shortly after moved to Indiana, where she spent the next 66 years of her life. She was employed at General Electric for 10 years, and Standard Register where she retired after 28 years. Maggie was a member of the Union Chapel Church in St. Paul, and enjoyed dancing, shopping, and going for rides in her car, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at the Glenn E. George Funeral Home 106 E. Franklin Street, St. Paul, on Wednesday, September 21,2022 at 3pm; friends may call from 1pm until the time of service. Pastor Joyce Barker will be officiating. Burial will be held at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, In. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Union Chapel Church, 4647 N. Co Rd. 700 W. St. Paul, In 47272.
