Marjorie Bodily Obituary

Marjorie R. Bodily 84, of St. Paul passed away on March 26, 2022, at Waldron Rehab and Healthcare. Born in Bristol, Virginia on December 10, 1937, to James Morton and Edith Ruth (Shell) Hash, she married Clayton R. Bodily on November 30, 1968, and he survives.

Other survivors include daughter Jacquelyn (Husband Dan) Brooks of St. Paul. 2 brothers- Jerry Morton of Tennessee, and Steve Morton of Indianapolis, 2 sisters- Linda Kidwell of Indianapolis, and Edith Ann Lawson of Tennessee, 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 daughter Beverlie Bagwell, 1 sister- Shirley Morton, and 1 brother- Robert Morton.

Marjorie graduated from Thomas R. Howe High School and had also attended IUPUI. She was electronics assembler for Bendix Aviation Corporation while living in Davenport, Iowa before moving to Indiana. She enjoyed doing craft work with her husband, traveling, but most of all loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Glenn E. George Funeral Home St. Paul, at 1pm, with visitation from 11am until the time of service. Burial will be held at the Paul Hill Cemetery in St. Paul. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
