Mark Allen Hatfield

Mark Allen Hatfield, 60, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020
at MHP Medical Center.
Born March 29,1960 in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of Clarence Hatfield &
Jenny Sue (McCandless) Wills. He married Diana (Barnes) Hatfield on October
19, 2009 and she survives. 
Other survivors include stepson Justin Ratliff (wife Natalie) of St. Paul; grandchildren
Melia & Madasyn Ratliff and is also survived by his fur babies Bailee, Sadie, Tank
& Gracie. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Hatfield had lived in this area since 2012 after previously moving from Trenton, Ohio.
He graduated from Middletown High School in 1978 and was a member of the Old Timers
Club at the IMS. He had been employed with the Ohio Dept. of Transportation &
Indiana Dept. of Transportation as a Communication Tech for 38  years and a wrecker
driver for Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 20 plus years. He was a US Army & Air
Force Reserve veteran.
Mark loved racing, shooting guns, camping & raising Golden Retrievers.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter
in care of the funeral home.
