Mark Philip Rick

Mark Philip Rick, 38, of Flat Rock, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his residence. Born May 28, 1983, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Terry Rick and Stephanie (Banawitz) Rick.

Survivors include- parents; Terry Rick (Diane) of Flat Rock, Stephanie Rick of Shelbyville; daughter Katie Rick of Franklin, 2 step-children Isaiah Lindsay of Franklin, and Hannah Lindsay of Franklin; sister- Renee Yantiss (Jason) of Waldron, 3 step brothers- Jeremy Amos (Christi) of Mooresville, step sister Nikki Scott (Ben) of Hope, and stepbrother Chris Amos (Gwen) of Greenfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mr. Rick graduated from Waldron High School and was a lifetime resident of this area. He was employed with Terry Rick Construction for several years. Mark enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with his children.

Funeral service will be 11:30 am, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd. with Minister Tricia Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Van Pelt Cemetery, with private graveside service.  Friends may call on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home and from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Wednesday.
