Obituary

Mark Stephen Leffler, 67, former Shelbyville resident passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his residence in Alachua, Florida.

Born December 8, 1955 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Jack Leffler and Glendora Leffler. 

Survivors include his father Jack and son Josh (Courtney) Leffler of Shelbyville; siblings- Scott (Reva) Leffler of Florida, Mike (Jackie) Leffler of Ohio, Todd (Chrissy) Leffler of Shelbyville, Jack Leffler of Ohio; 2 grandsons- Grayson Leffler and Carson Leffler. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister Marna Leffler.

Mark spent 61 years of his life in Shelby County before moving to Alachua, Florida. He was a diesel mechanic/welder and attended Shelbyville High School. Mark enjoyed anything outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He loved taking road trips, driving through the mountains, spending time on the beaches in Florida fishing, but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 20 East Franklin Street, Shelbyville, Indiana. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Memorial donations can be made to Riley Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
