Mary Jo (Tart) Craig

Mary Jo Tart Craig, 54, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 in
Beech Grove.  
Born October 30, 1964 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Jimmy Tart and
Joan Sheare.  She married Wendell Craig in March of 2004, and he survives.
Other survivors include 2 children- Kyle Craig (wife Lyndsay) of Shelbyville, 
Shannon Conner (husband Matthew) of Spring Hill, Florida; a sister Cathy
Jones Tart (husband Jackie) of Shelbyville; 2 grandchildren- Khloe Craig & 
Emylee Conner; and an Aunt- Jean Swinehart of Beech Grove, who was her caregiver.
  She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary had lived in this area her entire lifetime, and had been a chef at several
local restaurants for 30 years.
She loved cooking, gardening, decorating, and hanging out with her friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Glenn E.
George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
